Audio/Video Quality: Descent was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Dana Vespoli for Evil Angel. The visual elements this time were much more like Dana’s first feature for the company, the lighting and effects used to blend the realities of her character’s situation. There was a lot going on with the camera too, making each vignette part of a larger whole certain to bring some accolades later on this year when others finally get to see what Dana has come up with. Just make sure you know what you are getting into because this wasn’t a piece of fluff like her lesbian work for other companies, it was designed as much to be mind candy as eye candy so keep that in mind while watching it. Yes, there was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner for those who care. The aural components of the show were handled in stereo English but provided some opportunity for Dana to stretch her imagination, using something outside the norm in order to convey various feature elements, leaving the surprises in until the last minute (watch it and you’ll understand better).
Body of Review: Dana Vespoli is one of the sexiest directors we’ve had blogging at vulkanio.ru, her latest works for Evil Angel pushing her boundaries a bit to discover a wider range of sexual experiences on camera. Her third flick as director for the company is called Descent, the movie showing Dana working on her thriller chops, the results somewhat unexpected but no less interesting all the same. With as much Dana Vespoli fucking action as you are likely to find these days, that alone will provide a major selling point but how she works the sex into the feature elements is sure to cause a stir later this year. Be forewarned that the sex was not happy, light, or fluffy as you would see from one of the companies specializing in features, it was darker, nastier, and pretty much what one should expect from anything made under the Evil Angel umbrella, Dana joined in a scene by hotty Karlie Montana but otherwise on her own with a series of meat puppets going crazy.
The company website described the movie like this: “For her third production as an Evil Angel director, veteran performer Dana Vespoli stars in "Descent," a feature-length, hard-core psychological mystery that spins a spooky yet erotic tale of a gorgeous housewife's spiral into madness. With her husband out of town, Dana is shocked to receive an anonymous disc which reveals that someone has been trespassing in her home, and spying on her in her sleep. Seeking help and distraction from various people - a pair of strange detectives (Danny Wylde and Alec Knight), a handsome yet erratic artist (James Deen), a beautiful and spectral redhead (Karlie Montana) and a cold, intense and unpredictable therapist (Mark Davis) - Dana experiences one depraved sexual encounter after another, unable to tell what is a dream, what is hallucination... and who is a genuine threat. Lost in her own subconscious, her marriage in jeopardy, the beautiful woman struggles to put the pieces of her life in place and make sense of her taboo compulsions before the horrifying truth is revealed. "Descent" shows what terrible secrets lie in the dark.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Dana Vespoli, the exotic brunette babe seen featured on the upper half of the front cover, was up first sexually with defective detectives Alec Knight and Danny Wilde, the two called out to investigate what initially appeared to be a stalking problem. Dana was dressed up in professional attire, her curvy figure and tattoos largely covered up until the trio started getting frisky. The guys suggested she might be partially responsible for her predicament and soon pushed her down on the beige couch, peeling off her pants and black panties to gobble her gash and feed her their cocks. His accusations led to him coming across as weird, her memories of the encounter sketchy (insider joke) but confusing her due to his eccentricities in play, the man embracing her as he forced her to submit to his will. He nuzzled her neck and pushed her head down, pulling out her boobs to play with the nipples before forcing her into a doggy position (her ass always looks great bent over). While Karlie had a lot of pubic hair, she was as stunningly attractive as ever, Dana’s clothing ditched promptly for Karlie to savor as the couple engaged in some light lesbian play. The kisses and caresses showed a lot of caring, their mutual chemistry better than anything else in the movie as far as a love connection. They did some foot fetish stuff and rimming, Karlie being the best “guardian angel” I’ve seen in a long, hard time. The wet antics led them to the bedroom where additional oral was bestowed on them by each other, Karlie taking her time to appreciate Dana before the featured starlet reciprocated. I loved the way Dana stuffed her face between Karlie’s wonderfully thick ass cheeks, the gals reaction sending a wave of pleasure up my spine as they continued, no ball batter displayed due to the lack of moper meat.
Scene Four: Dana Vespoli, back in her black and red outfit, was up last with shrink Mark Davis, her desire for him to “fix her” leading to him dominating her helpless body. Summary: Descent by director Dana Vespoli for Evil Angel was cut from a different cloth, allowing Dana room to explore rape fantasies and hardcore sexual antics in a feature where nothing is for certain except the heat between the performers. Dana was in every scene sexually and not as a second hand participant but all the way this time, her smoking hot trysts sure to gain her some accolades as much as the feature elements will later this year around award time. I won’t ruin the story or ending but suffice it to say that the movie was entertaining on multiple levels, the darker elements worked in better than you usually see in such a fuck flick, to the point where I felt a rating of Highly Recommended was earned. Dana looked great and Karlie Montana was as prime as ever but this is the kind of thing I expected from the director when she started shooting for Evil Angel, easily surpassing her previous efforts. In short, Descent was truthfully advertised as a dark sexual thriller, the context of the sexual exploits needing to be remembered for the more squeamish out there so give it a look and see why Dana has already become a major part of the directorial lineup at the company, leaving me wanting even more.
